On May 8th, 2024, at 18.30, the Trade Event of the European Project “PRECIOUS EUROPE” was held in Medusa Restaurant, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event was attended by a large number of people, consisting mainly of representatives of major food import companies, bloggers, wholesalers, retailers and journalists. The audience had the opportunity to learn about the main objective of the campaign, to get information about the quality of European Premium olive oil and raisins as well as to get more information about the olive oil & raisins production and processing. The representatives of the Association of Producers’ Organization of Kiato Premium Olive Oil & Raisins, the President Mr. Konstantinos Papavasiliou and the General Manager Mr. Nikos Papavasiliou, provided the audience with valuable insight on the process of producing high quality European products. In addition, they highlighted the activities of the Organization and the specific features of agricultural production methods, particularly in terms of traceability, authenticity, nutritional aspects, respect for the environment and sustainability.

During the second part of the event, the Attendants of the event had the opportunity to try out traditional recipes based on the premium promoted products.
